Dear Little Me...welcome

Well, hi there. Welcome to the first post...hmm this is new, exciting and nerve-racking. I will probably only upload twice a month, whilst also uploading novel snippets. That is right, I am going to start back on my novel, it is in the revamping stages right now. Once it is revamped and ready, I will release an about it, a paragraph or two and then maybe I will publish it. We will see...I don't know.

I never thought I would be interested in writing actual novels but when I was college it sparked my mind. I started it but life got in the way, so here I am, graduated and ready to do something more creative outside of my work life.

If you didn't know, I am a reporter for a daily newspaper. I work 5 days a week and sometimes weekends, the news does not stop. Although I enjoy writing about local government, education, and feature type stories, writing a blog seemed to me to be more creative. I can let me thoughts out and let a stranger read it.

My plan for this blog is to write it like I am writing to my younger sisters. Almost like a "Goodluck Charlie" episode. If you don't know what that is, then ummm good luck. Kidding...slightly. Goodluck Charlie was a Disney Channel show when I was a kid. It featured a big sister, vlogging her life for her younger sister Charlie. She would learn a lesson and at the end of the show, she would end it with "Goodluck Charlie."

I am going on a tangent but that is what this blog to me will feel like. Lessons I had to learn growing up from people but also lessons I learned by myself. My life hasn't been all rainbows and sunshine, but I don't think anyones is.
